FRANCESO JODICE

Francesco Jodice (b.1967, Italy) is an artist known for his use of photography and video to explore social landscapes, culture, and geopolitics. He graduated in Architecture from the Università Federico II in Naples in 1995 and co-founded the Multiplicity Collective in 1999.

Jodice’s work has examined urban environments and societal narratives through projects like What We Want and The Morocco Affair, as well as geopolitical issues and global crises through films, installations, and series like Atlas and American Recordings. He teaches Visual Arts and Photography at institutions in Milan and Turin and has exhibited at major exhibitions such as Documenta and the Venice Biennale. His work is held in public collections worldwide.
