Opening Wednesday 18 March in London, a display of works by the legendary German artist Joseph Beuys (1921-1986), curated by Piero Tomassoni.

Beuys, whose centenary will be celebrated next year in several major institutions around the world, is regarded as one of the most influential cultural figures of the 20th century. The artworks on display (important unique works from the 1970s and a substantial body of editions) exemplify his position on the importance of dialogue as an artistic method.

The exhibition focuses on works that represent the Beuysian ideal of creativity as dialogue, as conversation and interaction amongst free and empowered people, along with the process of documenting and disseminating the results of such interactions and creative moments achieved through direct communication.
