A solo exhibition of Hermann Nitsch is currently on view at the SLAG & RX Galleries in New York. Curated by Denise Wendel-Poray, the exhibition draws its title, “Bayreuth Stories”, directly from the artist’s deep connection with the Wagnerian opera. “Ger ⸫ mania , An Encounter with Vettor Pisani” is happening today, June 16, at the Goethe-Institut in Rome. A collaboration with Zerynthia, the project is dedicated to the late Italian artist Vettor Pisani (1934 – 2011), a primary exponent of artistic research in Italy from the 1970s onwards and one of the most visionary authors of the art scene in his generation.
